Explore the Spirit of Indian Adventure

Join Us At Rivers Edge Campground August 22nd To The 29th

Where It All Began

Spirit of Indian began with a group of riders who met at another motorcycle rally and quickly discovered that we shared more than a passion for Indian motorcycles.

We connected as friends and, over time, as a family — brought together by the spirit of riding, friendship, respect and the community that surrounds Indian motorcycles.

That connection led to an opportunity to create something new. We were approached by River’s Edge Campground at Apple River to help develop and grow a new motorcycle event, and Spirit of Indian was born.

Our first event takes place in August 2027 at River’s Edge, bringing riders, friends and families together for a week of riding, friendship and good times.

Our Home at River’s Edge

River’s Edge is more than a place to stay — it is the perfect setting for Spirit of Indian™.

Set in the beautiful surroundings of the Apple River, it offers everything from RV sites and tent camping to cabins, giving riders, friends and families the chance to stay right where the event is happening.

During Spirit of Indian™, we take over the dedicated Event Centre and surrounding area, creating a space where you can park your RV, camp and stay close to the heart of the action.

And when the day’s riding and activities are over, the atmosphere doesn’t stop. As the evening settles in, campfires come to life and riders gather with family and friends, sharing stories from the day, talking about the rides and remembering the moments that made them smile.

It’s those evenings, those conversations and those connections that help create the family atmosphere and special bonds that Spirit of Indian™ is all about.

More Than a Ride – A Gathering of Friends.

The Rides of Spirit of Indian

Riding is at the heart of Spirit of Indian™. Throughout the week, there will be a mixture of large planned rides and smaller organised rides, giving everyone the opportunity to get out and explore Wisconsin at their own pace.

Our smaller rides will generally be limited to around 15–20 riders, heading to a variety of places to see, local attractions and great food stops. With different rides planned throughout the week, you can choose where you want to go, meet different people and share the experience in a safe, organised way.

We'll also be adding places of interest and suggested destinations to the website as we build the event, for those who would prefer to head out on their own or with a couple of friends.

Riding will be a huge part of the Spirit of Indian experience, but you don't have to ride every day. There's always plenty happening back at River's Edge, including our Vendor's, entertainment, social activities and time to simply relax with friends and family.

Ride. Friendship. Respect. Family.

What’s On

Although the rides will be a big part of Spirit of Indian™, there will be plenty happening away from the bikes too. At this early stage we already have a range of activities and events in the works, including our Vendor Village and Trading Post, social gatherings, campfires, entertainment, a Pot Luck family gathering, the Spirit of Indian Poker Challenge, tubing and river activities, Bikers Got Talent, an Event Centre dinner, and our Saturday Open Day featuring an Indian Motorcycle Bike Show, exhibitors, food, family activities and entertainment. The programme will continue to develop over the coming months, with full details added to the website as each activity is confirmed.

Our Guiding Principles

Values That Unite Us

At the core of Spirit of Indian lies a set of values that guide our gathering and define our community. Respect for the road, the environment, and each other is paramount, ensuring that every participant feels welcome and valued. We believe in the power of adventure, encouraging riders to explore new paths and embrace the thrill of the journey. Inclusivity is another cornerstone, as we strive to create an event where everyone, regardless of background or experience, can find their place and feel at home.

Community is the heartbeat of Spirit of Indian. We are more than just a group of riders; we are a family that supports and uplifts one another. This sense of belonging is what transforms our event from a simple gathering into a meaningful experience. Lastly, we are committed to safety, ensuring that every ride is conducted with the utmost care and preparation. These values are not just words but actions that shape every aspect of our event, making Spirit of Indian a truly unique and enriching experience.
